Does anyone care about this bitch anyway? How many people died in Iraq this month, and Laci Peterson is on top of the headlines! Fuck her!

Tripp Lite 4 port KVM switch  Posted Monday, January 28, 2002  11:46 AM EST by Chris
Hoser has reviewed the Tripp Lite 4 port KVM switch. A dandy device for sharing 1 keyboard, monitor, and mouse with up to 4 computers. Click here for the report.

FrontX Review  Posted Friday, August 10, 2001  5:08 PM EDT by Cmere
Products of all types have been created simply to increase performance, why not something to increase convenience? Someone else must have been thinking the same thing, because a company called FrontX has come to the rescue. Click Here for more

Belkin Optical Mouse  Posted Friday, June 1, 2001  1:24 AM EDT by Chris
Hoser has written a review of the Belkin Optical Mouse, which compares favorably with Microsoft and Logitech's offerings.

I tested it with Unreal, Unreal Tournament, and Half-Life. Now, I'm just barely an average UT player, but this mouse made it so easy to get a head-shot from a mile away I almost felt sorry for the players I was fragging. Almost. I actually won a game or two more than I usually do, and I don't doubt the mouse was my edge. Click here for more.

Road Warrior Q-Drive External Hard Drive  Posted Tuesday, May 29, 2001  1:56 PM EDT by Chris
Hoser has written a review of the Road Warrior Q-Drive External Hard Drive, a keychain sized USB flash memory device.

The Q-Drive is a USB storage device that makes transferring files between USB-equipped PC's extremely simple. Plug it in, install the drivers, and you are all set. It is about the size of a key, which makes it easier to carry than Zips or floppies. While it is geared towards laptop users, desktop users can share in the ease of use. It does help if you have a USB port on the front of your desktop, or as in my case, a port on the monitor base. Click here for the scoop.

SuSe Linux 7.1 Professional  Posted Thursday, April 12, 2001  1:55 AM EDT by Chris
Our resident P1mp Mastah: V1m Fuego has whipped up a nice SuSe Linux 7.1 Professional newbie installation guide.

For $69.95, ~1/3 the price of W2k, or 1/6 W2k + MSOffice, SUSE7.1 Profesional provides everything you need to begin working productively in one pack. Together with ~900pp of manuals, and 2 sets of media (7CDs, duplicated on one DVD) - and even the CD wallet is printed with 14 installation tips - it is indisputably excellent value. Remember that Linux by default provides many utilities that would cost a Windows user real money to buy&install. The range of free software provided is almost incomprehensible. Creative Nomad Jukebox Review  Posted Saturday, March 24, 2001  5:02 AM EST by Chris
After much delay, we finally have our Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox review courtesy of Memnoch. The Nomad Jukebox is a portable MP3 player with an integrated 6GB hard drive and USB connectivity. Here is an excerpt:
The Nomad Jukebox is small, weighs very little, and looks great - just as a PDA should (smooth, rounded and organic - rather than square and bulky). The Nomad Jukebox uses an 8 MB DRAM buffer, in permanent physical contact, to load the next section to be played thus providing jog-protection for up to 8 mins. This functions amazingly, I have had no problems listening in the car, jogging, or running down stairs. Not even the slightest skip! Click here for the full report

MamboX P300 MP3 Portable CD Player Review  Posted Sunday, February 18, 2001  11:24 PM EST by Chris
I just completed a review of the MamboX P300 portable CD player. Here is an excerpt:
The MamboX P300 is a portable CD player that is capable of playing CDRs filled with MP3 files. Access to a CD writer would be necessary in order to create custom MP3-filled CDRs. The major advantage of this is that depending on the bitrate, about 10 CDs worth of music can be put on a single disc! The unit also plays back standard audio CDs. Click here for the full report
